Abstract

This article deals with the political consequences of Pakistan's American policy and focuses on domestic policy, Pakistan's management structure, and deep and lasting impact on civic relations. This article traces the historical trajectory of the United States and Pakistan from the Cold War to the war on terrorism, and examines the key political decisions and economic aid that have shaped the Pakistan political landscape by extremists with terrorism and diplomatic interaction. This study embraces the qualitative concept of research based on interpretive principles and uses thematic analysis of half-structured interviews with politics, diplomats and scientists supplemented by secondary sources such as university literature, policy, and historical data.

The results are highlighted by several interconnected trends of deep political polarization, catalyzed during the acts of General Musharraf. Fashion; strengthens the asymmetry of the civilian military and contributes to important US security support. It undermines democratic institutions and public trust from political conditions and foreign pressures. And management destabilization following terrorism and operations to combat local troops. Together, the policy structurally weakens Pakistan's citizenship, reduces its sovereignty, creates certain political instability, and limits Pakistan's ability to pursue independent policies.

Critical analysis of this legacy, this article highlights the need to reevaluate relations with the US and Pakistan and protect more balanced democratic participation. The strengthening of Pakistan's political system, increasing public participation in politics, and reducing excessive reliance on military decisions provide an important tool to overcome the sustainable political costs of Pakistan's American political choices.
